The land we call home

Wedged between the city and the wilderness, our homestead lands are a peaceful escape for all who visit. Fertile farmland mixed with deciduous and old growth Westcoast rainforest provide us with bountiful harvests and an untamed natural playground.

Roughly a third of the homestead is occupied by farm buildings, livestock pasture, and where we grow our produce.

The other two thirds are forest intersected by waterways. Originally old growth trees, most were clear cut in the 1960s only to be replaced by black ash, cottonwood, and young cedars.

As you trek through the forest you’ll come across a secluded river abundant with salmon surrounded by enormous cedars and Douglas firs.
