Garden market
Throughout our homestead you’ll find edible plants, fruits, nuts, and vegetables.
Our garden market sits on the site of the original Japanese farmhouse, likely built in the early 1900s and demolished after WWII due to the forced removal and internment of many local Japanese residents. This era saw displacement and subdivision of large farms.
We fenced the area to prevent deer and bears from feasting on our harvest. We have an arbour on the east side for grape vines, a community gate close to the property entrance, and a gardener’s nook to store tools, sit and enjoy farm to table foods.
